Pleated Pastry (from Ready Dough)

Hello Dear Friends,

If I say pastries are my savior recipes, I certainly wouldn't be exaggerating. When someone is coming or we are going somewhere, I especially love to prepare instant pies from ready-made phyllo. actually my favorite pastry or pie pastry but recipes that can't be handled at all, such as pleated pastry, are also a great convenience.

 

25 phyllo dough in a small baking dish (15 x 2cm) is great. Moreover, it resembles the same water pastry as it cooks :)

Ingredients for Pleated Pastry (Stuffed Dough) Recipe

How to Make Pleated Pastry (from Ready-made Dough) Recipe?

  1. Whisk yogurt, eggs, oil and salt in a deep bowl.
  2. Mash the feta cheese with a fork or crumble it with your hands.
  3. Finely chop the parsley and mix it with the crumbled cheese.
  4. Lay the first yufka on the counter and spread generously with the yoghurt sauce you prepared on top.
  5. Sprinkle with parsley mixed with cheese on top.
  6. When you finish sprinkling, hold the phyllo from the side facing you and push it towards the middle. Shrink the other end by doing the same.
  7. When the dough becomes a pleated strip, divide it into 2 parts and place it in the greased baking dish.
  8. Do the same with the other phyllo and spread the remaining sauce on the pastry.
  9. Bake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees until golden brown (approximately 30 minutes).
  10. Cover the puff pastry with a cloth and let it rest until it comes to room temperature. Serve by slicing.
