Smoking pastry The only pastry that I have loved to cook and eat for many years is a savior for me. If I have phyllo dough at home in my spare time, I roll it up and put it in the freezer. For this, all you need to do is to put the pastries you have wrapped in a bowl, spread a stretch film on each layer and wrap them in an airtight manner.

In the evening, when a sudden guest arrives, I take it out of the cabinet and leave it outside for 5 minutes. As soon as you fry, tap fresh and crispy cigarette pastries at your command.

In fact, my guests ask me when did you go? :) Don't be fooled, this is our kitchen secret :)

If you have a storage container, you can put it in it or on a tray, wrap it in cling film and store it for a very long time. I highly recommend you try it to save time.

Materials 

  • 3 pieces of dough
  • 250 gr. feta cheese or sour cream
  • half a bunch of parsley
  • 1 tablespoon room temperature margarine
  • 1 pieces of eggs
  • 2 cups of oil (for frying)

Instructions 

  1. Divide each phyllo into 8 pieces (I recommend using a pizza knife if you have one)
  2. Take the feta cheese in a deep bowl and mash with a fork, finely chop the parsley. Add the margarine, egg, parsley to the cheese and mix it all together.
  3. Put a teaspoon of the material on the wide side of the triangular piece of dough, fold both sides and wrap it without being too tight, wet the pointed end of the dough with your finger and stick it.
  4. After wrapping them all in this way, fry them on high heat.
  5. You can put a napkin paper on the serving plate and arrange the pastries on it to absorb the oil of the fritters you have fried.

    Hello Miss Nilay,
    I make the rolls with curd cheese, I don't know if it's because it explodes while frying. That's why I got cold from the spring roll :( What do you think is the reason?

      Hello Ahu, curd pie is not very popular in our house. If the donuts are cold, that is, if they have been in and out of the freezer or refrigerator, they may burst in hot oil because they are jammed well.
