Ingredients for Carbonated Unleavened Bread Recipe

  • 4,5 cups of flour (450 g)
  • 1 cup + quarter cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda (5 g)
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder (5 g)
  • 1 sweet spice salt
  • 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar

How to Make Carbonated Unleavened Bread Recipe?

  1. Add the vinegar to the milk and mix. 
  2. Take the flour in a deep bowl, add baking soda, baking powder, granulated sugar and salt to it and mix it with the help of a spoon.
  3. Mix by adding milk and when the dough spoon holds it, take it to the counter and knead by collecting it with your hands. (just knead enough to come together so the bread is not hard)
  4. Put the dough in a baking dish or tray with greaseproof paper. With the help of a knife, make a deep scratch in the form of a plus.
  5. Bake in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Leave the baked bread to cool on a wire.
  7. Serve by slicing the cooled and shrinking bread.
