Celery Breaded

Hello Dear Friends,

It's been two days of unbelievably beautiful weather in Istanbul. For some reason, my body gives interesting reactions to this situation. Every time seems like the right opportunity to start spring cleaning instead of traveling :) On the one hand, while I was trying to finish my work, on the other hand, that room is yours, this room is mine.

Victim of cleaning; Let's unite and form Voltron :) (especially children of 1980's period know Voltron)

Now you will say that you work so hard, you are already tired, hire a woman! come once a month, every fifteenth. For some reason, there are no women to keep in the market, or I don't know women who know those women (at least where I live). Anyway, I still have hope :)

A woman who speaks little and works hard will one day say "Hello Nilay, they wrote me to you" and will start cleaning :)

Having said so much, we can now return to our main topic. Yesterday I decided to try a different recipe with my last two celery. I am sure that it will be a different and delicious alternative for those who consume celery only as a salad or with olive oil.

I gave details in the recipe about panelemek, but you can find my article that I prepared in detail here.

Ladies who are hungry for cleaning, 3 times "VOLTRON, VOLTRON, VOLTRON!" says and I offer my love…

How to Make Celery Pane Recipe?

  1. Squeeze the lemon that you wash and cut into 2-3 parts in a large bowl. Fill it with water and set it aside.
  2. Peel and rinse the celery, and slice 1 cm thick (cut the very large ones down the middle and form a half moon shape). Put each piece in lemon water so that it does not darken when slicing.
  3. When all the celery is done, transfer the celery to the pot along with the lemon water. Before turning on the stove, take the lemon peels.
  4. Boil the celery until soft, about 5 minutes. (Be careful not to overcook or they may melt.) Drain the softened celery.
  5. Arrange 3 plates side by side for the pane. Put flour on the first plate, scrambled eggs on the second plate and crispy breadcrumbs on the last plate.
  6. Dip the drained celery first in flour, then in egg, and finally in crispy breadcrumbs and fry in hot oil until it turns like a pomegranate.
  7. While the celery is browning, mix all the sauce ingredients. Arrange the fried celery on a plate and pour the sauce over it and serve.
