We started a beautiful day, full of new excitements and brand new projects :) Maybe that's why I don't say hello to the day so early. When it is enjoyable, breakfast becomes more valuable than ever. One would like to buy a newspaper of rabbit blood, brew tea, and have breakfast with it.

Potato fritters suit mornings like this for me :) While we're on the subject, a little tip for you...

You can grate and fry the potatoes raw, or you can boil them and use them by crushing them with a fork or grating them. In both ways, be careful that the potatoes are not too soft and mashed. Apart from the spices in the recipe, I recommend adding a little mint to it.

  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 tablespoons of margarine
  • salt, paprika, black pepper
  • 1 teacup of oil
  • 1 teaspoon of yogurt
  • 2 eggs (inside the whites and out of the yolks)

  1. Peel and chop the onion. Peel and grate the potatoes.
  2. Put the margarine in the pan and add the onions. Fry the onions on medium heat until they turn pink.
  3. Add the potatoes and spices to the roasted onions and cook the potatoes by stirring until they release their juices.
  4. Whisk the oil, yoghurt and egg whites in the bowl until they are completely mixed.
  5. Lay the dough on top of the counter and divide it into 4 parts.
  6. Brush the dough with the yogurt mortar you prepared with the help of a brush or fork.
  7. Put the potato inside from all over the wide part of the dough (do not put too much) and roll it up.
  8. Wrap all the rolls from right to left and place them next to each other on a greased tray.
  9. Brush the egg yolks you set aside on the pastries on the tray.
  10. Finally, sprinkle sesame and black cumin on them and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until golden brown.

Hello, first of all good luck. I have been making your recipes for a long time and I have not encountered any bad results so far, it makes me look at every recipe on your blog and I thank you for that. I was thinking of making this recipe right now, but what do you think if I prepare it the night before, keep it in the refrigerator and cook it the next morning? I hope you can see and reply soon. Thank you, good health!

When I read the recipe, I was sure it would be delicious … it was incredibly delicious … ( Let me add , I live abroad , I made it with the phyllo that I brought from Turkey and threw in the freezer , I wonder what is made with the fresh ones )
It's the first time in my life I'm commenting on a site…. It was delicious, thanks for the recipe.

I tried it yesterday, it was a perfect thing. It's the kind we eat in patisseries and wonder what's in it, moreover, it's very practical, I recommend it.

I think it's fine, but my advice is to reduce the amount of yoghurt oil and egg white mixture in half, otherwise it will be a lot of surplus and waste. Bon appetit, ladies.

I looked and I think I'm going to visit you every day. By the way, the borek looks super, my first heat tomorrow is to make borek with potatoes.

Hello, the dough here (USA) is unfortunately very hard and it tears when it is opened, I buy a triangle dough, but unfortunately it does not curl like a rose in that type of dough (I tried it) if I make it like a cigarette borek, the potato explodes when it melts.. I would be very happy if you could give me a suggestion … Love….

I was reading your article right now while sipping my rabbit blood tea. When I entered half an hour ago, there was a recipe for cabbage. Now it's the burrito. The recipe broadcast continues day and night without saying early. The pictures of the pastry are also very nice, now this would go well with tea, even if we ate it :) good luck, I hope your day will be full of beautiful and successful projects as you mentioned. Good Friday everyone.
