Ingredients for Easter Bun Recipe
- 2 eggs + 1 egg yolk on top
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 125 g margarine
- 2 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon mahleb
- 2 cups of warm milk
- a tiny pinch of salt
- 4 water glass flour
How to Make Easter Bun Recipe
- Put warm milk, instant yeast, oil, eggs, powdered sugar, salt and mahaleb in the middle of the flour and knead a soft dough.
- Ferment in a warm place until doubled.
- After it is fermented, divide it into nine equal parts and roll each part into thin sticks with the bulging edges in the middle.
- Bring three of them together into a braid and arrange them on the tray.
- Sprinkle it with egg yolk and hazelnuts or almonds and put it in the oven (I didn't use hazelnuts because they don't stay at home).
