Baked Whole Cauliflower

What you need to do is actually very simple, the most important thing for this is that the cauliflower is whole and its dimensions. You can also use smaller cauliflower if you want, but 600-700 gr gives good results.

Don't forget to keep time while boiling your cauliflower. Do not boil more or less than the time given. If you boil it a little too much thinking it will stay raw, you may run the risk of scattering when you take it out of the water or from the oven.

The thicker the yogurt you use, the better it will be.

How to Make a Whole Cauliflower Recipe in the Oven?

  1. Clean all cauliflower leaves. Boil water in a large pot and add some salt.
  2. Cook the cauliflower in boiling water for 5 minutes.
  3. Drain the boiled cauliflower and let it rest for 10 minutes to get the first heat.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the yogurt, olive oil, egg yolk, crushed garlic, paprika, salt and pepper.
  5. Cover the cauliflower, which you bought in a bordeaux or baking tray, with the yoghurt mixture.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve hot or cold sliced.
