Hello Dear Friends,

I have everything I love in my recipe today :) Crepe is a practical taste that we all often prepare sweet or salty. Whatever you add to it with it or whatever you add, it always gets the most attention on the table. I used to prepare spinach with béchamel sauce with meat dishes from time to time. This time I decided to try this recipe with the shirred pancakes I prepared.

Good thing I tried it, it got full marks from my wife and guests. I think those who like to set elaborate tables will like it very much. What you need to do is simple, saucer-sized pancakes are also very easy to flip :)

You can also try this recipe with different vegetables. I'm sure it'll be a smash hit even with vegetables like broccoli that aren't in demand :)

It makes about 10 pancakes in total. It is enough for 4 or 5 people.

Love…

How to Make Shirred Crepe (Spinach with Bechamel Sauce) Recipe?

  1. Whisk the crepe ingredients in a deep and wide bowl until there are no lumps. Lightly grease a Teflon pan.
  2. Pour the pancake batter the size of a tea plate into the heated pan and cook it front and back. Continue the same process until the dough is finished. Set the cooked crepes aside.
  3. Take 1 tablespoon of oil in the pan. Add the spinach on it and sauté for 2-3 minutes and set aside.
  4. Take 1 tablespoon of butter in the same pan, add flour and fry it. Add milk little by little and continue whisking. (If there are lumps, mix it with a hand blender until it becomes smooth.) When the bechamel sauce has a consistency, add the roasted spinach and cheddar cheese and mix it.
  5. Put 1 tablespoon of spinach with bechamel sauce inside the pancakes and close with a toothpick.
  6. Serve plain or with tomato sauce.
