Chocolate cookie

Another holiday has disappeared from our lives. This holiday took its place next to the past holidays. It is interesting that I did not eat a bite of roasted meat during the whole feast of sacrifice. I think it will be because of walking around Fellik, we didn't eat much except the tel kadayif that I prepared at home. One second! Thanks to my mother-in-law's encouragement, let me not forget the green beans we prepared in the pressure cooker. (Pressure-cooked beans are really delicious, but I don't know if I can dare alone.)

You know more or less about my Nigel obsession that started these days. One of the recipes she prepared in her cooking show for the BBC is chocolate chip cookies. My wife and I passed out watching her make cookies. When we say today and tomorrow, it is the last days of the holiday holiday that we prepare the recipe. We said let's go to Büyükada to take a photo of the cookies, without understanding how and how the event developed. You may think we are crazy after reading these lines, but we are not :) We are a couple who just enjoy cooking, traveling and taking pictures.

Fortunately, we went and had the opportunity to watch the 29 October Republic Day celebrations. In fact, when we got lost in conversation and missed the Kadıköy pier, we had to continue to Karaköy and had the opportunity to watch the fireworks show on the ferry. Thanks to this, we took some very nice photos. I don't share them because I couldn't find the opportunity to process them all, but I'm attaching 2 photos with tweezers to the article.

This is how the holiday was spent with us, I hope you started things by resting and clearing your mind.

Love…

Important Note: The chocolate you will use must contain 70% cocoa butter.

Ingredients for Chocolate Chip Cookies

How To Make Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe?

  1. If your hazelnuts are shelled like mine, roast them in an oil-free pan for 5 minutes to break them and peel them off. Take the roasted hazelnuts between a damp kitchen cloth, rub them and peel off their shells.
  2. Coarsely pound one-third of the hazelnuts you have prepared. Process the remainder through a food processor and grind into flour.
  3. Cut the chocolate into squares, melt it in a bain-marie and set aside.
  4. Mix the sugar and butter at low speed and then at high speed until the sugar dissolves. Add the egg to the mixture and continue mixing.
  5. Add all the flour and nuts to the mixer and mix for 1 minute.
  6. Finally, add the melted chocolates and run the mixer 3-4 times.
  7. With the help of a tablespoon, take the cookies 2-3 cm apart on the baking tray on which you have greased paper. (Don't try too hard to shape them, they look very beautiful in their born state.)
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes. (When you buy it, it should be crusty on the outside but soft on the inside, don't bake it more because it's not cooked).
