Chocolate cookie
Another holiday has disappeared from our lives. This holiday took its place next to the past holidays. It is interesting that I did not eat a bite of roasted meat during the whole feast of sacrifice. I think it will be because of walking around Fellik, we didn't eat much except the tel kadayif that I prepared at home. One second! Thanks to my mother-in-law's encouragement, let me not forget the green beans we prepared in the pressure cooker. (Pressure-cooked beans are really delicious, but I don't know if I can dare alone.)
You know more or less about my Nigel obsession that started these days. One of the recipes she prepared in her cooking show for the BBC is chocolate chip cookies. My wife and I passed out watching her make cookies. When we say today and tomorrow, it is the last days of the holiday holiday that we prepare the recipe. We said let's go to Büyükada to take a photo of the cookies, without understanding how and how the event developed. You may think we are crazy after reading these lines, but we are not :) We are a couple who just enjoy cooking, traveling and taking pictures.
Fortunately, we went and had the opportunity to watch the 29 October Republic Day celebrations. In fact, when we got lost in conversation and missed the Kadıköy pier, we had to continue to Karaköy and had the opportunity to watch the fireworks show on the ferry. Thanks to this, we took some very nice photos. I don't share them because I couldn't find the opportunity to process them all, but I'm attaching 2 photos with tweezers to the article.
This is how the holiday was spent with us, I hope you started things by resting and clearing your mind.
Love…
Important Note: The chocolate you will use must contain 70% cocoa butter.
Ingredients for Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 75 g butter
- 225 g brown sugar
- 2 pieces of eggs
- 50 g hazelnuts
- 150 g flour
How To Make Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe?
- If your hazelnuts are shelled like mine, roast them in an oil-free pan for 5 minutes to break them and peel them off. Take the roasted hazelnuts between a damp kitchen cloth, rub them and peel off their shells.
- Coarsely pound one-third of the hazelnuts you have prepared. Process the remainder through a food processor and grind into flour.
- Cut the chocolate into squares, melt it in a bain-marie and set aside.
- Mix the sugar and butter at low speed and then at high speed until the sugar dissolves. Add the egg to the mixture and continue mixing.
- Add all the flour and nuts to the mixer and mix for 1 minute.
- Finally, add the melted chocolates and run the mixer 3-4 times.
- With the help of a tablespoon, take the cookies 2-3 cm apart on the baking tray on which you have greased paper. (Don't try too hard to shape them, they look very beautiful in their born state.)
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes. (When you buy it, it should be crusty on the outside but soft on the inside, don't bake it more because it's not cooked).
Hi, brown sugar is used in your recipe. I wonder if it works with white sugar, will the measure be the same? I would be grateful if you let me know…
Hello Emel, brown sugar has a caramelized flavor and moist texture. Without changing the recipe, I followed the ingredients given by Nicel and was very satisfied. I recommend trying it with brown sugar. Yours sincerely
This is an amazingly delicious recipe! Might be the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever eaten. Since I didn't have hazelnuts, I used macademia nut keeping all the measurements constant and ate our fingers!
Good luck with your hands :)
Hello,
Your recipe looks very appetizing, well done.
I have a question. My children do not want to eat cakes, cookies, etc. with intense dark chocolate taste, I wonder if I can achieve the same consistency if I use milk chocolate?
No problem. The reason why dark chocolate is preferred is that it has a high fat content, you can use milk chocolate with a fat ratio close to it.
Hello,
Is butter melted in this recipe?
It will be at room temperature.
They are like distant relatives of Acıbadem, they are very beautiful.
mine don't rise at all, did you add baking soda?
Hello,
I made the recipe, it was very good, I wanted to thank you. It was better when I ate it as soon as it came out of the oven, then it got a little hard, but we still loved the cookies :)
By the way, I used raspberry dark chocolate, it gave a nice smell and taste. Next time I'll try it with orange chocolate.
See you!
The cookies look great, I have a question, my daughter has a hazelnut allergy. If I don't use the hazelnuts in the recipe, should I add flour instead or will it be enough if I just remove the hazelnut part?
thank you.
Hello, I'm watching, you can use walnuts instead of hazelnuts. You can add a little flour as you mentioned in your comment. Love…
first thing in the evening will be to do this :)
health to your hands, arms, eyes, in one word, everything is mutişhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :)
