Ingredients for Einkorn Bulgur Pilaf with Mushrooms

  • 2 cups einkorn bulgur
  • 3 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium potatoes
  • 1 capsicum peppers
  • 7-8 chestnut mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoon of tomato sauce
  • 4 water glass of water
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

How to Make Einkorn Bulgur Pilaf with Mushrooms Recipe?

  1. Chop the onions finely for edibles and the potatoes into cubes the size of backgammon dice.
  2. Remove the seeds of the capia pepper and finely chop.
  3. Wash and wipe the mushrooms and chop them to the size you want.
  4. Put the olive oil and onions in a saucepan and fry them until they turn pink.
  5. Add the potatoes and continue frying.
  6. When the potatoes begin to soften, add the pepper and mushrooms and fry for 2 more minutes.
  7. Add the bulgur and mix well.
  8. Add tomato sauce, salt, pepper and continue mixing.
  9. Finally, add the hot water, mix and cook the bulgur until the water is tender.
  10. Serve the cooked bulgur pilaf after resting for 15 minutes.
