Fig Walnut Pudding Cake

I don't know where you are, but Istanbul is pretty cool. It's almost June, but stubbornly summer has not come. As such, the body could not enter the summer mode :) Then let the cakes go, the pastries :)

Fig Walnut Pudding Cake is truly a wonderful pastry-like flavor. Having extra walnuts and figs in the cake also adds flavor to its flavor.

I preferred the fig pudding and I liked it very much, but you can use a different pudding.

How to Make Fig Walnut Pudding Cake Recipe?

  1. Beat sugar and egg until creamy. Add the liquid and continue whisking.
  2. Sift the flour, baking powder, vanilla and cinnamon and continue mixing.
  3. Finally, add pieces of chocolate, dried figs and walnuts and mix with a spatula.
  4. Line the bottom and sides of a clamped bowl with greaseproof paper. Take the cake dough into the mold and bake it in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 30 minutes (until the inside comes out dry).
  5. Leave the baked cake to cool.
  6. Cook the fig pudding with 2,5 cups of water until it thickens. After cooling for 10 minutes, pour it on the cake in the mold and put it in the refrigerator.
  7. After resting for 1 hour, pour chocolate sauce and serve.
