A big hello to all of you from the first day of Ramadan,

It has already gripped us all, I wonder what I should do for iftar tonight. Of course, we will be even more alarmed when visits to friends and relatives start in the coming days. That's why I prepared day by day earlier Ramadan Menus you can take a look. This week Kitchen Secrets on Blog service I am also thinking of preparing different menus consisting of wonderful recipes of writers who keep blogs.

making of revani

I have prepared a very nice recipe for you for this beautiful day. Making Revani is usually difficult for us, can I keep the consistency? When thinking about how to make syrup, it is considered deductible and mostly given up.

If you follow these 2 tips while preparing your revan, you will not have a problem. The first is to foam the eggs and sugar as you do when making a cake, and not to extinguish it too much while adding the other ingredients.

The second is that the dessert is hot and the syrup is warm or even cold, that is, prepare the syrup and let it cool, then take your dessert to the oven.

Happy Ramadan and love to all of you...

Ingredients for Revani with Ice Cream and Orange Recipe

  • 3 pieces of eggs
  • half a glass of granulated sugar
  • half a glass of semolina
  • 1 teaspoon of yogurt
  • Half a teaspoon of oil
  • 1 water glass flour
  • 1 package baking powder
  • 1 tablespoons of orange zest

For the syrup:

  • 1 glass of orange juice
  • 1,5 water glass of water
  • 2 cup powdered sugar

For Service:

  • 1 slice of ice cream

How to Make Revani with Ice Cream and Orange Recipe?

  1. Put the eggs and granulated sugar in a whisk, beat until the eggs are fluffy. Add the yogurt and oil and continue mixing.
  2. Add the flour, semolina and orange zest to the mixture and continue mixing without extinguishing the eggs. Finally, add the baking soda and mix 1-2 more times.
  3. Grease a medium-sized bowl with oil. Spread the revani mixture you prepared on the tray you greased. Bake in a preheated 170 degree oven until golden brown.
  4. While Revani is cooking, take sugar, orange juice and water for the syrup in a saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Boil for another 5 minutes, remove from heat and leave to cool.
  5. Before taking the Revani out of the oven, insert a toothpick to check if the inside is cooked. If the toothpick comes out dry, take the cooked revani from the oven and pour the cooled syrup on it.
  6. Slice the syrup after it has cooled completely and serve each slice with ice cream.
