Summer halva

I remember the first time I tasted summer halva and how amazed I was 😍 And I was really surprised. Although there are varieties such as red, white or with almonds and hazelnuts, my favorite is always the one with cocoa and walnuts.

Ingredients for Summer Halva Recipe

How to Make Summer Halva Recipe?

  1. Mix tahini and cocoa until there are no lumps.
  2. For the sherbet, put water and sugar on the stove. Stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves. When it starts to boil, boil it for exactly 1 minute.
  3. Carefully add the sherbet you took from the stove to the cocoa tahini mixture. 
  4. Mix and when it starts to thicken, add the walnuts and continue mixing until it thickens.
  5. Pour the halva mixture into a small bowl lined with baking paper.
  6. Let it cool and shrink at room temperature for 1 hour.
  7. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, then slice it and serve.
