Dukkah Spice
Hello Dear Friends,
Duqqa, du'ah, do'a or dukkahAn Egyptian and Middle Eastern condiment consisting of a mixture of hazelnuts, walnuts and spices. A spice blend with a legendary flavor. You can make any amount you want and store it, but I'm sure you will like it more if you make a small amount and consume it fresh. Thanks to the easy fry that came into my life lately, now my husband, I bake what I want quickly without saying whether I will run the oven for so many things. I prepared my spice for a very practical potato recipe that will actually come.
You can add different flavors by adding cumin, almonds or pistachios. Remember, pass the nuts through a spice grinder or blender until they're crumbly, but don't grind them into powder completely. It's important to be granular.
I did not want to roast sesame, but if you want, you can add it to the ingredients, bake it and put it in a blender.
You can also serve it with olive oil and use it as an appetizer.
Love…
