- 1 cup grated tomatoes (sold in markets) or (3-4 medium tomatoes)

- 1 water glass of water

- Cut the sausages into 3 pieces if they are cocktails, and 6-7 pieces if they are larger.
- Take the oil in a small saucepan. Add the garlic and fry it.
- Add the tomato zest and mix to let the tomato paste melt.
- Add the hot water and bring the sauce to a boil for 1 minute. Add the sausages to the boiling sauce and cook until they begin to swell.
- Serve hot.
Note: The amount of water can be reduced if desired. I use less water because I like dark. By the way, a little secret, you will not be able to get enough of the sausages thanks to the 1 tablespoon of ketchup you will add.
