Forest Kebab (With Celery)

Hello Dear Friends,

Orman kebab is one of my favorite pot dishes because of its flavor and variety. This time I wanted to add a little winter touch and add celery. It sure looks great :)

I was a little surprised at first when I saw this handmade natural stone pot, the new product of @nehir Mutfak. First of all, I thought how good it would be to use in oven dishes. When I read it, I saw that we can use this pot directly on the stove. Although I was a little skeptical at first, I hadn't made a pot meal with such pleasure in a long time. Moreover, the guests I invited that day loved the meal. It's great that the pan performs so well, it definitely adds flavor as the food cooks. Another advantage is that, like cast products, it can not only be washed by hand, but also put in the dishwasher.

I'm also very curious about how to ferment yoghurt in it ☺ If you're looking for a different pot, it's definitely worth buying.

How to Make Forest Kebab (With Celery) Recipe?

  1. Chop the onion finely. Peel and dice the carrots, celery and potatoes.
  2. Remove the seeds from the peppers and chop them the size of other vegetables.
  3. Put the meat in a saucepan with 1 tablespoon of butter and fry it on high heat until the meat releases its juices. (If the meat releases a little water, add a little more water to soften it and cook it until it absorbs the water and remains in the fat.) If you are going to use veal, add water on top of the meat and cook it until it becomes soft and the water evaporates.
  4. Add the onions and fry until they change color.
  5. Add the carrots and fry them. Add the celery and potatoes and continue frying.
  6. Peas and fry. Finally, add the peppers and fry for 1 more minute. Add 1-1,5 glasses of water and cook until the vegetables are soft and serve.
