Russian Salad in a Potato Dish
I always say potatoes go with almost any meal. It is especially good for salads. I've been preparing potato bowls for a long time. I serve these bowls sometimes hot and sometimes cold.

Ingredients for the Recipe for Russian Salad in a Potato Dish
For the Potato Dish:
- 5 medium potatoes
- 1 tablespoon of yoghurt
- salt
- black pepper
- Water to boil
For the Russian Salad:
- 1 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 cup mixed side dish (carrot, pea, potato)
- 2 pickled cucumbers
- Finely chopped spring onions for serving
How to Make Russian Salad in a Potato Dish Recipe?
- Boil the potatoes in plenty of water. When the fork is boiled to the point that it will sink, take it off the stove, run it under cold water and peel the skins off.
- When the potatoes come to a temperature that will not burn your hands, add salt and 1 tablespoon of yogurt and mash. Take a little bit larger than a walnut from the mashed potatoes.
- Roll the pieces in your slightly wet hand and widen them with your finger by making a hole in the middle. Dip the potato bowls you prepared into finely chopped spring onions, and then transfer them to the serving plate.
- In a deep bowl, mix the mayonnaise, the garnish you drained and the finely chopped pickled cucumber.
