Falafel Recipe – Chickpea Meatballs

Hello Dear Friends,

I think I shared this recipe on my blog for the first time in 2014, but at that time I had prepared 4 large meatballs as falafel burger patties. When my Tefal Actifflow Blender came, I wanted to prepare it again and share it with you as a reels video. First of all, we use 2 cups of chickpeas that have been soaked for at least 12 hours in this recipe. I use a kind of chickpea called ram head. When I soak 1 glass of dried chickpeas, it fills 2 glasses of water in the morning (wet weight is 280 g). The better you dry the green material and the chickpeas, the better the consistency.

Another important point is the oil in which you will fry the falafel, this oil must be deep, that is, abundant. For this reason, you can put oil in a small sauce pan and cook falafels in groups of 2-3 at most. You both prevent oil waste and fry falafel balls that are cooked in seconds more controlled. (you can watch the video below)

The blender is very important in such recipes. Actiflow Pro Extreme Blend'N Go Cam Blender Set – I was very pleased with its 1500 W performance. Thanks to its large glass bowl, and the 4-blade stick head, it is excellent that it distributes lumps effectively and makes the materials smooth. The mixer head can fluff 1 egg very quickly and effortlessly. If you want it to work well in the kitchen and not get too messy, you can choose such a compact blender set.
