Celery with Olive Oil

Release Date: 13-05-2008
4 5 5 1

2 kg on its own, which has been waiting in the cupboard for almost 1 weeks without spoiling. I had a giant celery that came in. Even though I wanted to eat celery all the time, I couldn't find the time to do it. I said enough last night and started to cook the dinner. Celery is as healthy as it is delicious. It is a vegetable that should not be missing from our kitchen. Of course, there are a few tricks to cook well, especially not to darken the celery.
This is a recipe that even those who don't like celery will enjoy. (Ex: My wife) He never liked it, but he really liked it. So that the celery does not turn black, as soon as it is removed, throw it in floury water and drain it just before cooking, so it will be white as in the photo. Before I forget, I used ready-made orange juice. Brand doesn't matter, but it's better if it doesn't contain fiber.

Tricks

Materials

  • 750 gr. – 1 kg. celery
  • 3 carrot
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 1 large potato
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 2 glass of orange juice
  • Salt

How to Make Celery with Olive Oil Recipe?

  1. Extract the celery and cut it into cubes, keep it in floury water as I mentioned until it starts cooking.
  2. Chop the onion for food and put it in the pot, add sugar, olive oil and salt and fry until it turns pink.
  3. After peeling the skin of the potatoes, chop them like celery.
  4. Peel the carrots and chop them transversely.
  5. Add the carrots to the pinking onion and fry for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Then add the celery and potatoes. Mix 1-2 times and add 2 glasses of orange juice.
  7. Bring to a boil over high heat and cook until the celery is soft by taking the stove to the lowest.
  8. If you keep the celery in the fridge for 1 night, its taste will be even better.
  9. I recommend serving it cold.

There is no need for a measure, some flour and enough water to cover the celery. Not for cooking flour and water, but to keep the celery white.

I made celery for the first time, it was delicious. Now I will have celery every week, it is a very useful food. I would recommend. Orange juice to give it a sour taste. But orange juice spoils the food afterwards. You can use lemon instead, I think you can cook it with lemon juice, keep it in the fridge overnight, you will love it.

When you added celery to orange juice, I didn't see the need to try it. We do not put celery in olive oil in onions. Let me give you the recipe. 1 kg. Chop the celery so that it is not very small, chop the potatoes, peel the carrots (about four medium-sized carrots, four small potatoes) and wash them all together for the last time, then put one and a half tea glasses of sunflower oil (I make it with olive oil) on it and put it on low heat, cover the pot turn it off after about three or four minutes, put plenty of water in the pot and let it cook on high heat (by adding salt, of course….) After about ten minutes, if the celery, carrots and potatoes are too cooked to fall apart, turn down the heat and put an egg, a lemon juice and two spoons in a separate bowl. Whisk the flour, add the celery juice little by little to the seasoning, then pour it into the pot, cook for two or three more minutes, if it has run out of water, add some water. ENJOY YOUR MEAL……

Greetings, beautiful ladies, I make celery with olive oil. (At least those who taste it say so). I used to overdo it with flour once. The consistency of floury dishes and soups thickens as they stand. I immediately rinsed them and added some more water. I do not eat pickled eggplant, even if it is tied. I eat raw celery, I love its salad ….
