I think ginger is a spice that suits potatoes as much as nutmeg. A different and pleasant taste for those who are not very fond of meat. But it can also be served as a delicious side dish with meat dishes. If you are wandering around the kitchen without knowing what to eat during the day, I say you should definitely try it :)

I usually like to serve it with hamburger patties and toast. Of course, you can enrich both its taste and presentation with fresh spices.

Finally, I recommend using fresh or frozen peas for this recipe. The reason for this is that canned peas are both less flavorful and cook and disperse very quickly.

Love…

Materials:

  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 1 cup of peas
  • 2 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger powder
  • Red pepper
  • Salt, pepper
  • 1 water glass of water

Fabrication:

  1. Peel, wash and dice the potatoes.
  2. Chop the onion, finely chop the garlic.
  3. Add the onion and garlic, and fry them on medium heat until lightly browned.
  4. Add the potatoes and continue frying for 1 minute. Add salt, ginger and remaining spices and mix. Add 1 cup of water and cook for 15 minutes.
  5. Add the peas and continue cooking until the water has evaporated. Serve hot or warm.

Potato salad is a food that I used to make a lot and my kids love very much. I mix boiled potatoes with plenty of lemon and olive oil, sprinkle red pepper on it, I also use my favorite grain mustard (to use mustard, those who eat must like it) But my must-have is to chop plenty of green onions and parsley on the salad and serve it green.
