Soft Focaccia Recipe

Focaccia is one of the most popular and well-known breads of Italian cuisine. Focaccia, prepared with olive oil and fresh herbs, is a delicious puffy flavor. You can make any additions you want according to your taste and decorate as you wish. You can make this recipe either by hand or in your stand mixer.
In this recipe, I used @panpan.un's special purpose wheat flour (All Pastries) and prepared a silky dough.
Normally, I would use sugar in my focaccia recipe, but this time I chose to use honey instead and I made folds while resting the dough to make it fluffy. You can see all the details in the video.

Ingredients for Soft Focaccia Recipe
For the dough:
- 7 cups PanPan Special Purpose Wheat Flour (All Pastries)
- 3 cups of water (warm)
- 1 pack of instant yeast
- 2 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 cup olive oil (for folding and spreading on the tray)
How to Make Soft Focaccia Recipe?
- Mix yeast, 1 glass of warm water and 1 tablespoon of honey and let it ferment for 2-3 minutes.
- When the yeast swells, add the remaining flour, water, salt and olive oil and knead. (Add flour cup by cup while kneading for a soft consistency)
- Leave the collected dough to ferment in a warm place for about 30 minutes. After fermentation, add olive oil, fold it 2-3 times and leave it to ferment for another 30 minutes.
- Spread the fermented dough into the greased baking dish or tray with your hands, without pressing too hard. (If your ovenware is small, you can divide it into 2 pieces and prepare 2 types)
- Drizzle olive oil on it and press it with your fingers to make slight indentations.
- Add olives, onions, cherry tomatoes and fresh spices as desired.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 18-20 minutes and serve hot or cold.
