Last month, I prepared a Coffee File for the January issue of La Cucina Italiana Magazine. In this file, I shared 5 different recipes that will make your coffee taste delicious. For those who missed the magazine, I will share these recipes from time to time throughout February.

The first recipe I chose is Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies, while preparing this recipe, we use oatmeal and chocolate chips, which you can easily find in the market. Oatmeal gives the cookies a very nice texture.

Pay attention to the times and degrees I give while baking the cookies. After cooking in the preheated oven at 10 degrees for 200 minutes, reduce the heat to 180 degrees and bake for 8 minutes and take it out of the oven.



Ingredients for Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1 eggs (large)
  • 1,5 water glass flour
  • 1 cup oats (oatmeal)
  • half a glass of granulated sugar
  • 100 g butter (softened in the microwave for 30 seconds)
  • 1 small pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • half a glass of chocolate chips

How to Make Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe?

  1. Thoroughly mix the flour, salt, baking powder and oats in a bowl.
  2. In another medium bowl, mix the butter and granulated sugar for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the egg and continue mixing.
  4. Add the dry ingredients you have prepared to the buttered mixture and mix, let it rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  5. Add the chocolate chips to the rested dough and mix. With the help of a spoon or an ice cream scoop, transfer the cookies to the baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
  6. Bake for 200 minutes in a preheated oven at 10 degrees, reduce the oven temperature to 10 degrees after 180 minutes and bake for another 8 minutes.
  7. Let the cookies you take from the oven come to room temperature and serve.
