Hello Dear Friends,

I declared this week as Kitchen Secrets Cookie Week :) My intention is to prepare 3 different cookie recipes and share them with you. Right now, I've had my eye on 2 recipes from our Blog Service, and I even went and bought almond flour today :)

To my first recipe, "Beware, it contains intense chocolate!" I think it would be appropriate to start with a warning, because it contains 425 grams of chocolate in total! From the beginning to the end of the recipe, your kitchen will smell like chocolate, and even the residents of the house, who smell the smell from other rooms, will follow you :)

There are some important points to consider while preparing this recipe. The first of these is that the chocolate you will use contains a high amount of fat, so the most suitable one is to use couverture chocolate. You can find couverture chocolates in pastry shops, online, and in some supermarkets.

The other point is the consistency of cookie dough, the dough has a slightly thicker consistency than cake batter. So, don't add flour in it just because the moon is liquid.

Make sure to place the cookies on the tray at intervals of 5-7 cm. Since they spread and swell while baking, there is a possibility of sticking to each other. The best thing is to cook on 2 trays, 9 pieces per tray is enough.

Finally, don't bake the cookies for longer than the given time, they are still soft when they come out. If you hold it longer, it is more likely to burn.

Ingredients for Intense Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 225 grams dark chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 4 spoonful butter
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 tea spoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 200 grams dark chocolate chips

How To Make Intense Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe?

  1. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees. Melt 225 g of chocolate and butter in a bain-marie and let them mix.
  2. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Beat eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla at high speed until sugar dissolves.
  4. Reduce the speed of the machine and add the melted chocolate and mix. Add the flour and keep mixing. Finally, add the chocolate chips to the mixture.
  5. Take the dough in the consistency of cake mix with the help of a tablespoon on the baking tray on which you have greased paper. (Cookies spread and rise, so you need to leave a gap of 5-7 cm or they will all stick together.)
  6. Take the cookies you baked for 14-15 minutes out of the oven.
  7. Transfer the cookies, which have been resting on the tray for 10 minutes, onto the wire cage and wait for them to cool. Once completely cooled, remove from the paper and serve.

Thanks for the recipe. It looks beautiful. I would love to do it, but I would be very happy if you write the measurements in grams instead of spoon or glass calculations. Because even if the spoon or glass is the same, the amount of dipping is not the same for everyone, some are heaping, some are not wiping. Also, many kitchens now have scales.

Hello, Ms. Nilay, I have a question, I do not understand whether 2/3 cup of flour in the dish means 2 or 3 cups of flour or 3/2 of it, sorry.

Good day. I want to make this recipe, which looks very delicious, for my weekend guests, but if I do not add the 200 g dark chocolate pieces at the end of the recipe, will there be any deterioration in its consistency? It is a bit costly and calorie:)

I made the cookie, it didn't look like this, but I used white sugar that tasted great, could it be because of that?
    Thanks for the recipe

Hello, even though it wasn't nice in the days when I was trying to cut a little bit of what I ate, I decided to try it unfortunately :D Good luck to you.

    However, I have 1-2 questions;
1- I think it will not be hard like a cookie, but will be slightly cake-like after it is baked?
2- Is it okay if I use regular sugar instead of brown sugar? I didn't even want to go out :D

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the recipe. I tried the recipe a while ago, but I guess I couldn't catch it. It was like a cake, not a cookie. Is it possible to get the cup and spoon units in the recipe in grams? Thanks.

There is no problem, it dries as it stands. They will rise first and then fade. A follower of mine who tried it and sent his photo has never had a problem. 1 tablespoon is 15 g. Think of it as such, other measures do not affect the consistency anyway.

If 1 tablespoon is considered as 15 gr on average, we can say 60 gr.
