Green Lentil Spinach Meal

So many green lentils were mentioned in the easy noodle soup I shared last week that I would definitely crack if I didn't make a recipe with green lentils :)
When I boil legumes, I always prepare a little more. I did not break this habit of lentils either. I boiled it too much, I used it for spinach dish 1 day, green lentil salad 1 day, and bulgur pilaf 1 day.
You can also evaluate protein-rich legumes in this way. It is a great option especially for those who are not fond of meat and vegetarians.

Ingredients for Green Lentil Spinach Recipe
- 350-400 gr spinach
- 1 tea glass of boiled green lentils
- 3-4 tablespoons of bulgur
- 1 medium onion (red if available)
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
- 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil
- If you don't have 3-4 tablespoons of chopped tomato sauce, 1 tablespoon of tomato paste (tomato & pepper mixed)
- 1,5 water glass of water
How to Make Green Lentil Spinach Meal Recipe?
- Boil the green lentils in 2-3 glasses of water.
- While the lentils are being boiled, chop the spinach you cleaned and cleaned coarsely. Chop the onion and garlic.
- Take the olive oil in the pan, add the onion and garlic on top and fry it until it becomes transparent.
- Add chopped tomato or tomato paste and fry until fragrant.
- Add bulgur and boiled green lentils and mix. Add the spinach pinches and mix. Finally, add the water and salt and close the lid of the pot.
- Cook on high until boiling, then cook on low heat until it boils. Serve hot.
