Hello Dear Friends,

At the beginning of the week, I am writing a recipe for you in my beloved home and in my favorite corner of my kitchen. My journey, which started with Antalya last week, ended in Bursa at the end of the week when I said İzmir. This time it's time for soup, a delicious and nutritious recipe for those who want to try different soups. Moreover, it is cooked practically with few ingredients.

Ingredients for Yams Soup Recipe

  • 500 g yams
  • 4 small potatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 spoonful butter
  • 1 tablespoons oil
  • 5 water glass of water
  • 1 glass of chicken stock (recipe here)
  • salt
  • black pepper

How to Make Jerusalem artichoke Soup Recipe?

  1. Peel the Jerusalem artichokes and put them in a bowl of water in which you have squeezed lemon.
  2. Peel the onion and chop the piyaz.
  3. Peel the potatoes and cut them into large pieces.
  4. Put the butter and oil in a saucepan. Add the onions and fry until they turn pink.
  5. Add the potatoes to the onions and fry for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add the Jerusalem artichoke to the pot and fry for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Add the water and broth, cook on medium heat with the lid closed until the vegetables are tender.
  8. Season the cooked vegetables by adding salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Boil the soup you passed through the blender for 1 more time and serve.
