Volovan (with Cheese)
Hello Dear Friends,
Volovan, originally known as Vol-au-vent, is a pastry made from puff pastry with a diameter of 15-20 cm, served with condensed sauces and stuffed with the desired ingredients.
It is usually made by cutting and cooking small square puff pastry. It is served by filling it with mortars that can be served cold, such as tuna fish, mushroom salad, etc. It has a recipe as easy as the other puff pastry recipes I mentioned this week.
What you need is two size dough cutters as in the photo, if you do not have this type of cutter or cookie cutter, you can use a water glass and a tea glass.
You can also evaluate the puff pastry that increases when you cut it, by making puff pastry sticks in this recipe.
