Cherry Compote
This weekend, I decided to take the cherries that have been waiting in my freezer since last summer out of the fridge and do something. It came out with cherry compote and a delicious cherry pie.

Ingredients for Cherry Compote Recipe
500 grams of cherries
1 liters of water
1-2 cups of granulated sugar
How to Make Cherry Compote Recipe?
1- Wash the cherries and separate them from their stems. Remove the cores if desired.
2- Put sugar and water in a pot of sufficient size and mix over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
3- When the sugar melts, add the cherries to the pot and cook on low heat for about 15 minutes. Serve cold.
