Materials: 

  • 2 cups red lentils (soaked overnight)
  • 3 medium egg
  • Half a glass of olive oil
  • 1 glasses of yoghurt
  • 3 tablespoons of white cheese
  • Cumin, dried mint
  • 1 package baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • Salt
  • 1 pinch of dill
  • 1 pinch of parsley

For the top:

  • Sesame
  • Black seed

Flourless Red Lentil Cake – How to Make Lentil Bread Recipe?

  1. Add enough water to cover the top of the red lentils by 2-3 inches and let it rest for 1 night to swell. Strain after 1 day and leave to drain for half an hour.
  2. Take the egg, yogurt and olive oil into the glass bowl of the blender. Add the cheese and spices and run the blender for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the drained lentils, baking powder and baking soda and let it run for 1 minute.
  4. If you're going to add it last, add the dill and parsley.
  5. Bake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
  6. Slice and serve the cake, which cools for half an hour and pulls itself.
