Ingredients for Unicorn Cookie Recipe

  • 230 g Terwyagi at room temperature
  • 110 g powdered sugar (1 cup)
  • 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
  • 4 glasses of flour (about 450 g)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
  • white sugar paste
  • yellow, pink, blue food coloring

How To Make Unicorn Cookie Recipe?

  1. Put the butter at room temperature in a whisk and beat at high speed for 1 minute.
  2. Add the powdered sugar and room temperature terwy oil to the whisk and beat for 1 more minute.
  3. Add 1 egg + 1 egg yolk and vanilla flavoring and whisk until completely mixed.
  4. When the mixture is ready, add the flour little by little (add 1 glass of flour and mix, add all the flour and do the same until it is finished).
  5. When all the flour is gone, mix for 1 more minute. At this stage, the dough may seem runny to you, but do not add flour.
  6. Divide the dough you prepared into 2 parts and wrap it with cling film and rest it in the refrigerator for at least 30-40 minutes.
  7. Take the dough, which rests and gets a little more consistency, on the floured counter and roll it out to 1 cm thickness. (lightly flour the rolling pin if you have difficulty opening it)
  8. Cut the dough with cookie cutters, insert a skewer into each one and transfer it to a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
  9. Bake in an oven preheated to 160 degrees for 15 minutes until the sides are very lightly browned.
  10. They will still be a little soft when you take them out of the oven, but definitely don't bake them any further. Take it out of the oven and let it cool. While the cookies are cooling, open the sugar dough lightly on the counter where you have laid starch or powdered sugar.
  11. Spread honey on the cookies and stick the white sugar paste.
Roll the sugar paste that you colored with yellow paint in the thickness of a matchstick.
  12. Fold the dough in half and roll it around to prepare the horn. Cut it to the size you will use and stick it to the white dough with the help of honey.
  13. For the ears, break off pieces of white dough, make small oval shapes in your hands.
  14. Glue the sides of the horn with honey, press it with a toothpick to give it its final shape.
  15. Tear off tiny pieces of sugar paste that you colored pink and blue, and shape them with silicone rose molds and stick them in the photo with honey.
  16. Let the cookies dry for 1 day. Pack or serve when the pastry has hardened.
