When my mother Asu came to us, she brought flour halvah, which did not come empty-handed. At first I said no, because I was on a diet, but I couldn't stand it at night, I ate 1, it was incredibly delicious :)

I am writing the flour halva recipe from his mouth.

My walnut flour halvah from here.

You can find my ice cream flour halva recipe here.

It was my namesake's recipe, but I tried this recipe twice. 1. After giving the syrup, I cooked it so much that it would come together, when it cooled, it was like a stone even harder than the walnut sausage 2. When I cooked it, I took the syrup and closed it immediately, it tasted good, but I couldn't keep the consistency again, I won't give up 3. I will make flour. I don't like halva very much, but the job got in the way

In the village, my parents used to make a lot of flour halvah at weddings, but they don't boil the syrup, I don't know what happens when the satin halva is hot and it turns into a hot syrup :))

In this recipe, it would be better if it was half with oil and half with margarine. I always make it. It would even be better if a little saffron was added to it .... If you want to prevent it from clumping, sift the roasted flour with a sieve before pouring the syrup, then it will not be lumpy, then pour the sherbet :) but the recipe is nice….good luck with your hands….:))

I also applied the recipe, it turned out pretty good!!! HOWEVER !!! I added walnuts just before adding the syrup. Don't make this mistake.
Because I think he left the walnut oil, while the consistency of the flour was great until that moment, big sticky lumps suddenly formed and when I added the syrup, I had to try hard to open it.. :) It was a tiny bit of flour but the taste was super :) Enjoy your meal

I just tried the recipe, the measurements were very good, even I used less than a pack of oil, although it kept the consistency. I also added walnuts before I took it off the heat. Thank you for your health…

mrb.. I tried making flour halva for the first time, but I didn't have the chance to be a beginner :) Although I mixed it very well, the flour became lumpy. I think the flour size should be reduced a little because while roasting it was dry like semolina. it should be increased a bit..thank you very much anyway..

I mixed the flour until the end without burning it. There is no problem there, but the syrup was low, I guess it was completely dry and lumpy when I poured it, I did not understand what happened. Later, I made sherbet with 2 glasses of water and 1 glass of sugar and poured it, it was good, I think everyone liked it very much. It would be better if it is ,2 water b, not sugar, but 1,5 glasses of water and 4 glasses of sugar (this is completely my preference, but everyone's taste is different, thank you for paying attention to my comment and writing cvp...

I wanted to make flour halva as a surprise to my mrb mother. I tried your recipe, but either you wrote the ingredients incompletely or there was another problem, it was not very good, it was dry and lumpy, sorry :(

Hi Kayra, the only thing you can do to avoid lumps is to roast them until you find the consistency of flour. It's a bit tiring but unfortunately there is no other solution..

    Thanks Nilay,

I visited dozens of food sites and decided on the recipe on your site. After a tiring roasting process, the flour halva was cooked. is brewing now.

    Nilay,

You said margarine in the ingredients, but you wrote that butter is melted. There is 2 cups of flour in the syrup. Not everyone knows, can you fix the recipe?

Shouldn't there be 2 cups of flour in your syrup, not water?
