Hello Dear Friends,

I have a cheerful recipe on the last day of the week :) Actually, this recipe is for little ones who take their first steps into school life and leave a week behind, rather than adults :)

You can also think of it as an activity that you will spend time together, whether after school or on the weekend.

In this recipe, instead of using food coloring, I especially preferred beet juice. After passing the beet juice, which I boiled, through the blender, I filtered it out with the help of a clean bonnet. Those who do not want to use beet juice can prepare cocoa by increasing the amount of cocoa in the recipe by 1 teaspoon. If you want, you can prepare it plain and serve with jam.

How to Make Ladybug Pancakes Recipe

  1. For the pancake batter, whisk together the eggs and milk. Add flour, baking powder and optionally powdered sugar to this mixture and whisk.
  2. Divide the dough you prepared equally into 2 bowls. Add cocoa to 1 bowl and beet juice to the other and whisk. (If you add too much beet juice to get color, add 20 g more flour and whisk.)
  3. Put 1 tablespoon of liquid in a non-stick pan. Lubricate the entire surface of the pan with a towel.
  4. With the help of a ladle, pour the cocoa dough into the pan to form a small circle and 3 times the size of it.
  5. Turn the other side and cook for another 10-15 seconds and transfer to a large plate.
  6. When the cocoa pancakes are finished, pour the dough you colored with beetroot into the pan and bake.
  7. Take the cocoa pancakes on a serving plate. Put the pancakes that you cut in half with a knife and give the appearance of wings.
  8. Serve garnished with chocolate chips.

Hello, Ms. Elif, unfortunately she doesn't have a brand :( I bought it from the Chinese market for shooting, sometimes such things happen sporadically in that type of shops.
