Recently, I rarely find the opportunity to have breakfast at home. I really missed the days when I watched cartoons while I was getting up early and having a little fun at the table. If I can't, I decided to prepare a pastry that appeals to both the eyes and the palate, saying what's your fault.

Ingredients for the Three Cheese Roll Pastry Recipe

  • 1 cup of warm milk
  • 1 tea cup oil
  • 2 eggs (reserve one yolk to use last)
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 sweet spice salt
  • 5 water glass flour
  • 1 pack of instant yeast (10 g)
  • 100 g melted butter

For internal mortar:

  • 1 teaspoon of dried tomatoes
  • 1 cup pitted black olives
  • 2 green peppers
  • 2 caps of red pepper
  • 150 gr. curd
  • 150 gr. feta cheese
  • 50 gr cheddar cheese
  • quarter bunch of parsley

How to Make Three Cheese Roll Pastry Recipe?

  1. Add the other liquid ingredients, salt, sugar and yeast, except 100 g melted butter, into the dough kneading chamber of your mixer.
  2. Add the flour gradually to obtain a soft dough. Cover your dough with a clean cloth and set it aside to ferment.
  3. Chop the dried tomatoes and peppers into small cubes. If you have olives, remove the pits and chop finely.
  4. Crumble the feta cheese and curd. Grate the cheddar cheese. Chop ½ bunch of parsley into your mortar. Season a little more with freshly ground black pepper. (Do not add salt while preparing your mortar, check it after all the ingredients have been mixed. Salt from dried tomatoes, feta cheese and olives may be enough.
  5. Divide the dough at this stage into two. Flour one and roll it out into a rectangle with a rolling pin, no more than half an inch thick. Spread the melted butter all over the dough.
  6. Sprinkle half of the stuffing on the rolled dough, roll the dough starting from the long edge.
  7. Be careful to put the stuffing in a balanced way, if it is too much, the slices may fall apart. Shape the roll with your hands.
  8. Cut into slices about 2 inches wide. Place on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
  9. Press lightly on the slices. Do the same with the second roll and place it on the tray.
  10. Mix the egg yolk you reserved for this moment with 1 tablespoon of melted and cooled butter and spread it on the rolls. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees until golden brown.
