We are finally back after a long vacation :) It was incredibly enjoyable and action-packed for me. Since my childhood, I did many things I wanted to do and saw the places I wanted to see. I even bought cookbooks for myself :) When we returned to Istanbul, the temperature dropped by almost 26 degrees for us. Yogurt Spinach Soup

My choice cumin lentil soup it happened. It looks like the next 1-2 days will be spent with soups like this :) I prepared the Seasoned Spinach Soup recipe and photographed it before I went to Thailand. The last 2-3 days of our trip were so busy that I couldn't find the opportunity to share.

As they say, it's too late :) I used bulgur while preparing my soup, but you can add rice if you want. Do not forget to warm the seasoning while preparing the soup, otherwise the soup will be flaky. Start with 5 glasses of water, you can add 1-2 more glasses to open the consistency according to your taste.


Ingredients for Seasoned Spinach Soup Recipe

  • 150 g of washed spinach
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of bulgur
  • 6-7 glasses of water
  • 2 tablespoon of olive oil
  • salt

For dressing:

  • 4 tablespoons of yogurt
  • 1 egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons flour

For service:

  • butter
  • red dried or red chili flakes

How to Make Seasoned Spinach Soup Recipe?

  1. Chop the onion, finely chop the garlic. Chop the washed and sorted spinach.
  2. Put the olive oil in the pan, fry the onion and garlic until lightly browned. Add spinach and fry for 1 more minute.
  3. Add 6 glasses of water and bulgur to the pot. Boil over medium heat until the bulgur is cooked.
  4. For its dressing, whisk the yogurt, egg and flour in a large bowl.
  5. Take 1-2 ladles of the boiling soup, add it to the seasoning and continue whisking.
  6. Add the warm seasoning to the soup and mix.
  7. Boil the soup, in which you added salt, for 1 more time.
  8. If desired, heat red pepper and butter and pour over the soup and serve.
