String Cheese Core Pastry
Hello Dear Friends,
I told you that we were exaggerating a bit during the holiday :) Since we shuttled between the house and the sea and we didn't want to buy anything from outside, I kneaded the pastries for breakfast some evenings and prepared them.
Of course, since it was evening, I mixed and used whatever was available at home :) I mixed the broken white cheeses and the string cheeses in the cupboard for the stuffing.
Wire cheese melts like cheddar cheese, so I think it suits me very well. I sprinkled some black sesame seeds, then I saw the kernels :) When I said let's get it from that too, I think it came to a consistency where you can only have breakfast with tea and pastry.
I didn't feel the need to do any extra making for this recipe as it was the same as other pastries. Anyway, the photos taken at night are not very good in the summer kitchen.
The shaping process is the same as in the video below.
Soon I will share my puff pastry recipe on my youtube channel. Don't forget to follow.
Also, if you share my cooking recipes with me on Instagram I would love to share it in my story too.
Love…

How to Make String Cheese Core Pastry Recipe?
- Separate the egg white and yolk. (White on dough, yolk on top). Take egg white, yoghurt, olive oil and room temperature butter together in a mixing bowl and mix well with your hands.
- Start kneading by adding 4 cups of flour, yeast, granulated sugar and salt.
- Add the remaining 1,5 cups of flour according to its consistency and knead until the dough comes together.
- Let the dough rest for 30 minutes and break off tangerine-sized pieces and roll them in your hand.
- Press the dough with your hands, put cheese in the middle and fold it closed. Press the ends so they don't open while cooking.
- Arrange 3-4 cm apart on each greased baking tray. Brush them with egg yolk and sprinkle with nigella sativa.
- Bake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees until the bottom and top are browned.
