The fig time has come again, a fruit that I used to dislike, but now I can't give up. I think my interest in it increased the day I realized that I could combine its pleasant taste with different recipes. Fresh figs give the cake an incredible flavor and moisture, giving the impression that you are eating a wet cake.

If you take care that the figs are not too soft when you add them to the cake mix, they will not fall apart when you add them to the cake mix, and the fruit pieces will preserve their unique structure even after cooking.
