No matter how much rest I need, I can't do without food. I also make soups, each of which replaces a meal, especially for lunch. 🍲

There is even a tarhana with noodles and chickpeas that we scrape the bottom of together 😋 I don't call them soups, I call them super meals now. 🦸🏻‍♀️ Chicken noodle soup with vegetables is one of my (or rather my father's) very old recipes. This time I added extra seasoning and garlic for doping.

Chicken Vegetable Soup – Ingredients for Healing Soup Recipe

  • 1 large chicken breast
  • 8 water glass of water
  • 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 heaping tablespoons of flour
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 small potatoes
  • 1 small carrot
  • 1 cloves of garlic
  • 1 coffee cup of barley vermicelli
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1 pinch of parsley

Chicken Vegetable Soup – How to Make Healing Soup Recipe?

  1. Start by boiling the chicken breast in 1,5 liters of water. While the chicken is boiling, chop the ingredients into small cubes.
  2. Take the olive oil and onion in the pan and fry them. Add the carrot and potato and continue frying.
  3. Add the flour and fry well.
  4. Add 3-4 ladles of chicken stock and mix. Add the barley noodles and let it cook.
  5. Shred or finely chop the chicken while the vegetables are cooking.
  6. Add the remaining water and chicken to the soup, mix and continue cooking on low heat.
  7. Whisk the egg yolks, garlic and lemon juice. Take 1-2 scoops of the soup and add it to the seasoning.
  8. Add the dressing to the soup, mix and cook for another 5-6 minutes and turn off the stove.
  9. Add a pinch of parsley if desired and mix. Serve hot.
