Ingredients for Chicken Rice Recipe

For the chicken:

  • 1 oven bag
  • 1 medium onion
  • Salt

For the rice:

  • 2 cups of rice for rice
  • 3 glasses of hot water or meat-chicken stock
  • 4 spoonful butter
  • 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  • 1 meat tablet bouillon

Making Pilaf:

  1. Wash the rice 2-3 times in a strainer with warm water.
  2. Fill a bowl with warm water and let the rice rest in it for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Put the butter in a rice pot and heat it. Add the thoroughly drained rice and fry until the rice turns into grains.
  4. Add 3 glasses of hot water and crushed bouillon and mix.
  5. Finally, add the boiled chickpeas and close the lid of the pot.
  6. First, cook it over high heat until it has holes in it, turn the heat down to low, and when it has completely absorbed the water, turn off the heat and leave it to brew. Serve with black pepper.

Chicken Preparation:

  1. Wash the chicken well and salt it and place it in the oven bag.
  2. Cut the onion in 2 and put it next to the chicken and tie the bag.
  3. Roast in the oven at 180 degrees until golden brown.
