Everyone is sick these days, and I wanted to give you a delicious soup recipe that will be very useful in times of sickness. I prepared for the culinary school section before. How to prepare chicken broth at home? You remember my post. This recipe of mine is a good excuse to use that chicken broth or to prepare chicken broth.

Normally, in that recipe, we used the bones of our portioned chicken to prepare chicken stock (chicken stock). If you prepare your broth by portioning your chicken yourself or using chicken bones you bought from the butcher, you will not be satisfied with the taste.

If you want to have extra chicken pieces in it like me, you can also use the thighs you bought by boiling them with carrots, onions and a little spice. In this way, you will have chicken thighs that you can serve with rice or something else after the soup.

I do not explain the materials to be used to boil the chickens over and over again because I explained it at length in my previous article.

Ingredients for Chicken Broth with Tomato Barley Noodle Soup Recipe

  • 1 tea glass of barley noodle
  • 2 chicken legs
  • 1 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 spoonful butter
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • half a cup of tomato puree
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 1,5 liters of water or homemade chicken stock

How to Make Barley Noodle Soup with Tomatoes in Chicken Stock?

  1. Boil the thighs as in the homemade chicken broth recipe or just with water. (You can find the chicken broth recipe here)
  2. Heat the olive oil and butter in a pan. Add the barley vermicelli on top and fry until golden brown.
  3. Add the garlic and fry.
  4. Add tomato puree or winter tomato sauce and continue mixing.
  5. Add the chicken broth to the pot and let it boil over low heat.
  6. Chop the thighs by separating them from the bones and add them to the soup.
  7. Cook until the barley noodles are cooked and the soup thickens, and serve hot.
