Perfect Şekerpare Recipe
The same question in all our minds and tongues: "Where are those old holidays?" Maybe everything has changed, maybe time has passed, but our traditional tastes such as Şekerpare continue to keep the spirit and beauty of old holidays alive. It is up to us to pass on a sweet legacy that extends from past to present, especially to our children.
For me, what brings back those pure and joyful days of the old holidays is a tray of homemade desserts.

Ingredients for Full Measured Şekerpare Recipe
- 200 g butter at room temperature
- 1 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of semolina
- 1 vanilla sugar
- 1 package baking powder
- 2,5- 3 cups of flour
Sherbet:
- 2,5 cup powdered sugar
- 2,5 water glass of water
- 1 tablespoons lemon juice
How to Make Full Measured Şekerpare Recipe?
- For the syrup, boil water and sugar over medium heat. Add lemon juice, boil for another 3-4 minutes, remove from the stove and let it cool.
- Mix butter, eggs, powdered sugar and semolina at room temperature. Add baking powder, vanillin and 2 cups of flour and continue mixing. Add flour little by little until you obtain a soft dough that does not stick to your hands or bowl.
- Divide the collected dough into 20 equal parts, roll them in your hands and place them on the baking tray.
- Bake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees until golden brown.
- Let the sugarpares come out of the oven and rest for about 1 minute to release their initial heat.
- Add the syrup, let it rest for 1-2 hours and serve.
