Ingredients for Full-Measure Homemade Profiteroles Recipe

For the dough:

  • 1 glasses of water (200 ml)
  • 100 g margarine
  • 1,5 water glass flour
  • 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar
  • half a teaspoon of salt
  • 4 pieces of eggs

For the inner cream:

  • 2,5 water glass milk
  • 3 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 tablespoons of wheat starch
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoons of margarine
  • 1 pack of vanilla

For the chocolate sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 pieces of eggs
  • 2 soup spoons of cocoa
  • 40 g dark chocolate
  • half a teaspoon of oil
  • 2,5 water glass milk

How to Make Full-Measure Homemade Profiteroles Recipe?

  1. Take water and oil in a medium-sized pot, cook over low heat until the water boils and the oil melts.
  2. Add the flour to the boiling water and start mixing the dough with the help of a spatula.
  3. When the dough comes together, crush it and spread it, cook for another 4 minutes, then remove it from the stove and let it cool.
  4. Add the eggs one by one to the cooled dough, spread them with the help of a spatula and crush them together.
  5. When all the eggs are finished and you have a soft but not spreading dough, portion it with a teaspoon onto a tray lined with baking paper.
  6. Bake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 35 minutes. 
  7. At the end of the cooking time, turn off the oven and crack the door, let the profiterole balls rest for 10 minutes without removing them.
  8. For the profiterole filling; Transfer all the ingredients to the pot, stir over medium heat, cook until it thickens and remove from the stove. Let it cool, stirring occasionally.
  9. For the chocolate sauce; Add all the sauce ingredients into the pot while it is cold and cook, stirring, until it thickens just like the filling and remove it from the stove.
  10. Serve the filled profiteroles with chocolate sauce.
