Tahini Cookies

I've been planning to prepare this cookie for a month. It all started when I received Koska's e-mail with the subject of "Valentine's Day Menu". When I say today and tomorrow, it took me 1 month to find the opportunity to try the recipe :)

tahini recipes

I actually modified the recipe they posted quite a bit. In addition, the recipe that came was completely based on grams, I converted it to cup sizes without much difficulty with the habit of years.

Tahini cookies are as beautiful and delicious as bought from the bakery. When the dough that is hard and dispersed in your hand is cooked, it dissolves between your lips at the first bite.

While reading the recipe, you will notice that there is no baking powder in it, so there is no shortage in the recipe :)

Also, yesterday, I prepared the patisserie dill cookies that I loved very much. Her recipe will be with you tomorrow.

Love…

Ingredients for Tahini Cookies Recipe

  • 1 pieces of eggs
  • 150 g margarine
  • 4 water glass flour
  • 1 cups sugar
  • 1 cup of tahini
  • 1 pack of vanilla

For the above:

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoons of oil

How To Make Tahini Cookies Recipe?

  1. Mix the sugar and tahini well in a bowl.
  2. Take the flour in the mixing bowl. Add margarine and egg softened at room temperature.
  3. Add the prepared tahini and sugar and knead. When you get a solid, easily dispersed dough, make walnut-sized balls from the dough.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 0C for 20 minutes by brushing egg white on it. Serve with ice cream if desired.

It is not specified whether we apply a spoonful of oil on it.

We mix the oil and egg to give shine. You can also try it in the form of milk and eggs if you want.

Well, it's very hard to get it from the tray when it's cooked, it's falling apart, let's wait for it to cool? Is it normal?

I did exactly as you described. It was more like sand than dough. I panicked. I also added the egg yolk that I had reserved for brushing the white on it. It doesn't look like it will disappear. I added 2 more tablespoons of tahini. It won't be possible. Very hopelessly, I clamped it in my hand and arranged it. And I cooked. Oh my god, what a BEAUTIFUL Cookie it is! Thank you very much. I was just worried. I thought I would like to thank you and write this message for those who will think like me. By the way, I took out 25 cookies ;) Thank you again, good luck to you and your effort.

Thank you Meltem :) It seems different at first because it doesn't have a familiar structure. Love :)

I tried nilay hnm cookies, but the dough did not take more than 1,5 water br of flour. I mean, it found consistency with that much flour. As you started adding more, the dough started to break. My appetite was whetted after you stated that it was falling apart in the mouth while eating in the recipe :)) but my cookies did not fit this analogy. Do you have any idea why it happened?
Friends who tried it, did you add all 4 br flours while making the recipe?
I will be glad if you answer

Hello, Mrs. Simge, 150 cups of flour is very little for 1,5 g margarine. There is no mistake in the measurements “When you get a solid dough that disperses easily, make walnut-sized balls from the dough.” The dough needs to be broken and dispersed.

I couldn't understand if there are walnuts on your cookies. There is no walnut in the ingredients, but you wrote to dip walnuts in the preparation, I was hesitant.

Hello, icon, I skipped writing the optional part. If you want, you can dip it in crushed walnuts after egg whitening.

You can use it alone by whisking the egg white, or you can use it by opening it with olive oil if you want.

In the free recipe, it also says 1 egg white for the top. Into 1 whole egg, out of the white of 1 egg.
