Ingredients for Strained Lentil Soup (with flour)

  • 2 cup of red lentils
  • 1 tablespoon of chili paste
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 4 tablespoon of oil
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Chili pepper
  • dry mint
  • salt

How to Make Strained Lentil Soup (with flour)?

  1. Wash the lentils and put them in a saucepan. Add enough water to cover the lentils and cook until the lentils are mushy.
  2. Take the cooked lentils in a tight strainer and drain. Boil the drained lentils again, if necessary, adjust the consistency by adding hot water so that it is liquid because it will thicken the flour consistency.
  3. Take the oil in the pan, heat it and add the flour and fry it. Put the tomato paste into the flour and fry it by crushing it. Add this mixture to the boiling lentils by stirring.
  4. If the consistency is thick, add hot water and boil it.
  5. Add salt, pepper, mint and lemon juice. Our soup is ready to be served… ENJOY...
