Ingredients for Milk Halva Recipe

  • 150 gr. butter
  • 1 cup of heaped flour  
  • 1 egg yolk (you can omit it if you want)
  • 1 liter milk
  • 1.5 cup powdered sugar

How to Make Milk Halva Recipe?

  1. For the syrup, put 1 glass of milk and 1 glass of granulated sugar in a medium saucepan. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat when sugar melts.
  2. Add the egg yolk and remaining milk to the mixture and whisk.
  3. Take flour and butter in a medium saucepan. Fry the flour with the butter until it smells.
  4. Add the syrup little by little and whisk it open. Add all the milk in the same way and cook, stirring, until it thickens.
  5. Divide the thickened halva into heat-resistant ovenware.
  6. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Cook the halva until golden brown.
  7. Serve cold.
