Split pea soup
Again, it was a very, very hot day, while I was going back and forth between cooking, tidying the house or reading a book, as usual, I chose to cook. Other works should wait for tomorrow, right ;)
I like all kinds of peas, but fresh peas have a different place. Pea soup was a recipe that I wanted to make for a long time, and that I never had the opportunity to try when I said today and tomorrow. In this soup, I used potatoes and broth as I use in other vegetable soups. 5 glasses of water made it a thick soup, just as I like it, but you can increase the amount of water by 1-2 glasses according to your request.
Ingredients for Pea Soup Recipe
- 1,5-2 cups of peas
- 1 medium onion
- 1 medium potatoes
- 1 meat bouillon
- 5 water glass of water
- 3 tablespoon of olive oil
Fabrication:
- Peel and finely chop the potato and onion.
- Take the onion and oil in a large saucepan and fry the onions for 1-2 minutes. Add the potatoes to the fried onions and fry a little more. Finally, add the peas and fry until the potatoes are soft.
- Add 5 glasses of water to the pot, when it boils, add the meat bouillon and boil it on medium heat for about 10 minutes.
- Blend your boiling soup until smooth and cook for another 10 minutes on low heat. If your soup comes out dark, add 1-2 cups of boiling water and boil 1 ash.
My dear Nilay, I made it to feed my little lamb recently, it was so good that I couldn't resist and ate it too :)) I even published it on the blog today :) Thank you very much for the health and recipe.
Thank you Özgecim :) Bon appetit to you and the little one :)
My sister Nilay, I made it for iftar yesterday, my mother likened it to the vegetable soup she made the day before. They liked it very much, it was delicious. Thank you :)

I will do it tonight, I hope you like it :))
I really want to try this soup. Because I love both drinking soup and different flavors. Tşk.
Thank you pomegranate. Love…
Well done, my rose.. It looks very beautiful. Years ago, in the recipe section of a newspaper, my mother saw and made it, and presented it to us with cotton hands at our dinner. I still love it, I do.
But I don't add onions, I'll try that too..
With love..
Thank you, I would definitely recommend the onion. Good luck to your mommy :) Best regards
