Ingredients for Cherry Jam Recipe

  • 1 kg. sour cherry
  • 1 kg of granulated sugar
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Fabrication:

  1. Sour cherries are washed, the juice is filtered, the seeds are removed with the help of an awl.
  2. It is placed in a pot, granulated sugar is poured on it, and it is left overnight.
  3. The next day, it is boiled in a heavy fire.
  4. When the consistency of the jam thickens, lemon juice is added, 5 minutes later it is removed from the fire.
  5. It is cooled in the pot and filled into jars.
