Ingredients for Cherry Jam Recipe
- 1 kg. sour cherry
- 1 kg of granulated sugar
- Juice of 1 lemon
Fabrication:
- Sour cherries are washed, the juice is filtered, the seeds are removed with the help of an awl.
- It is placed in a pot, granulated sugar is poured on it, and it is left overnight.
- The next day, it is boiled in a heavy fire.
- When the consistency of the jam thickens, lemon juice is added, 5 minutes later it is removed from the fire.
- It is cooled in the pot and filled into jars.
