Soda Cake

I have used soda in many different recipes, especially in pastries, but the cake was a surprise for me ☺️ I've been baking this cake all the time lately. I made small changes with each try and made it exactly to our taste. I saw this recipe for the first time in dear Ufuk lady. I was going to share it as soon as it was cooked, but a lot got in the way. Let's not forget to thank him here too :)

Since I was going to pick up my daughter from school, I took the cake out before it got cold, so even if I didn't bake it and flour it, it was a little damaged. You wait for it to cool completely. Glass measuring 200 ml standard Paşabahçe water glass.

Ingredients for Soda Cake Recipe

• 3 pieces of eggs
• 1,5 cup powdered sugar
• 2/3 cup oil
• 2,5 water glass flour 
• 1 bottle of mineral soda 200 ml
• 1 packet of vanillin with sugar
• 1 packet of baking powder
• 3 tablespoons cocoa + 3 tablespoons milk to add to cocoa if needed

How to Make Soda Cake Recipe Recipe?

1. Put the sugar and eggs in a whisk, whisk until the mixture turns white (until the sugar is completely dissolved).
2. Add mineral water and oil to the beaten eggs and mix.
3. Add the flour, baking powder and vanilla, mix until you get a runny dough.
4. Grease and flour your cake tin, then pour half of the dough into the tin.
5. Add cocoa to the dough remaining in the whisk and mix well.
6. Add the cocoa dough on the dough in the cake mold. Mix the dough.
7. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 30 minutes. Before taking it out of the oven, check if the middle is cooked, if not, cook for another 5 minutes.
