Hello Dear Friends,

Many of us will have guests at home this Sunday. Now, since most of us work on weekdays, iftars where we host our family and friends stay on weekends. You can make a delicious bread kebab with your own kneaded bread without much hassle. Yoghurt yeast, knead a little again and put it in the oven with a tray :)

yoghurt shish meatballs

I usually prepare my meatballs in advance and put them in the freezer. The recipe I use most often meatballs my recipe. If you have some meatballs in your freezer, your job is easier. Otherwise, you can buy it ready-made, or you can knead it yourself and rest it, then put it on skewers and bake.

Yes, there is no need to mess around with the pan. Bake it on a squash or baking tray. If the meatballs are made of lean ground beef, do not forget to oil the tray.

You can also prepare this recipe with stale pita.

Love…

How to Make Shish Meatballs Bread Kebab Recipe?

  1. Mix the flour, yeast and salt with a spoon in the dough kneading bowl.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil. Knead for about 10 minutes, first in the bowl and then on the counter, until you get a smooth dough. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest at room temperature for 45 minutes.
  3. Remove the gas by kneading the waiting dough and open it by pressing it with your fingers, either on the baking tray or on the pyrex.
  4. After leaving it to ferment for another 10-15 minutes on the tray, bake it in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 15-17 minutes until the bottom and top are browned.
  5. Take the baked bread out of the oven and let it cool on a wire.
  6. Thread the meatballs that you have prepared or bought ready-made on skewers and straighten them by squeezing them with your hands.
  7. Place the skewered meatballs on the baking tray. Add cherry tomatoes and peppers and fry it in a preheated 200 degree oven, turning it occasionally.
  8. While the meatballs are cooking, fry the butter and tomato paste, add water and salt to it and cook until it thickens. Mix the crushed garlic and yogurt.
  9. Slice your bread into cubes and distribute it on serving plates.
  10. Drizzle with garlic yoghurt first, and then sauce with tomato paste.
  11. Serve hot by sharing the meatballs, peppers and tomatoes that come out of the oven.
