Hello Dear Friends,

This recipe is from our blog service. Busy in the KitchenI saw it on 's blog and liked it very much. I included it in today's iftar menu because I thought it was a flavor worthy of Ramadan.

Maybe because of the flour structure or the cup size, my dough didn't come together properly, so I added an extra 2 tablespoons of flour. Sugar and sherbet was definitely number 10. It absorbs the sweet syrup very quickly and does not stay dry at all.

A recipe you can try for the upcoming candy holiday. Thank you for this delicious recipe :)

I will also try more sorbet desserts before the holiday. Stay tuned :)

Love…

Ingredients for Sherbet Semolina Dessert Recipe

  • 1 teaspoon of yogurt
  • 1 teaspoons of oil
  • 1 large eggs
  • 1 glass of semolina
  • 1 glass of flour + 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 packet of vanillin with sugar
  • 1 package baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

For sherbet:

  • 2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 water glass of water
  • 2 drops of lemon juice

Fabrication:

  1. For the syrup, put the water and sugar in a medium saucepan. Stir until the sugar dissolves. After boiling for 1-2 minutes, add the lemon juice and remove from the stove.
  2. Take all of the dough ingredients into a deep mixing bowl. Knead until you get a smooth consistency. (I didn't knead too much because I like it a little textured, I shaped it when the dough was collected)
  3. Take walnut-sized pieces from the dough you kneaded. (It comes out around 19) Arrange on the tray at 3 cm intervals. Shape them with a small lid or the back of the whipped cream.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees until golden brown. (24-25 min)
  5. Pour the cold syrup over the hot dessert you bought from the oven. Serve the desserts that have drawn the syrup and cooled.

The dessert was very good. Thank you for the recipe. My wife liked it very much. I grated some orange peel in it the second time I made it. Thus, the taste of eggs was suppressed. It is very good that it lasts for a few days.

I started to search for dessert on your site for my friend who is going to have dessert after iftar in the evening. When I was thinking about what I can do with the ingredients at home, I saw the semolina dessert and I just made it. Your measurements are so accurate that even the pieces fit perfectly…and the taste is great. Thanks :)
