Ingredients for Şekerpare Recipe

  • 1 cup of room temperature butter
  • 2 eggs (the yolk of 1 will be brushed on top)
  • 1 teaspoons of oil
  • 1 teaspoon of semolina
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar
  • 1 packet of vanillin with sugar
  • 1 package baking powder
  • 3 water glass flour

For the syrup:

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3,5 glasses of water,
  • juice of half a lemon

How to Make Şekerpare Recipe Recipe?

  1. Put all the ingredients to be used for the syrup in the pot and cook it on high heat, stirring, until all the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add lemon juice 2-3 minutes before taking the sherbet from the stove and leave it to cool.
  3. Take the room temperature butter, baking powder, powdered sugar, 1 egg white and whole egg, baking powder, vanillin and 2 cups of flour into the kneading bowl and start kneading.
  4. Add 1 more cup of flour and knead until it reaches the consistency of an earlobe.
  5. Gather the dough that has a consistency, cut off pieces of walnuts, shape them and place them on the baking tray.
  6. Brush them with eggs and scratch them with a fork, bake them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until they are like pomegranate.
  7. Pour the cooled syrup over the hot desserts you have taken out of the oven. Serve when the syrup is done.
